amaze 60's freak out and make out

The Sensations
"cry baby cry"

um, i am such the sucker for these delightful harmonys

Diamonds
"why do fools fall in love"

one of my favorite songs...

Gene Simmons
"haunted house"

not the gene simmons you are hinking of. but a mega dorky one...i just kinda like alot

The sounds of love w/ bebe bardon
"je t'aime moi non plus"

a rare and hot album, that will be replacing my cigarettes and jazz, now it will be, me & bebe and champagne for summer

Foster Brookes Roasts
-featuring johnny carson and ralph nader
i don't have television anymore and thought this might be nice brain noise when i eat dinner... ralph nader making fun of foster brookes, hmmmmm how can it go wrong?

Cal de Suze
"the walrus and the carpenter"
this is a childrens album with my favorite stories in spoken word. The walrus and the carpenter, is one of my favorites. Because i love the sea and seafood and i love the idea of trapping oysters and eating them.

Nancy & Lee (nancy sinatra hot fox)
"ladybird"

I am officially over my bonnie and clyde days. I wanna be a nancy and find my lee. I am into it..i think i am ready..

Eric Burdon and the Animals
"winds of change"

I could listen to eric burdon and the animals everyday for the rest of my life. I love him. he's the ultimate bad ass.

Ravi Shankar
"song from the hills"

if you don't know about ravi shankar, then you dont know much about the concept of amaze. get some. get some now, for your god damn soul.

Fleetwood Mac
"hypnotized"
i started my fleetwood mac obsession as soon as i moved to new york. I painted my living room to rumors and i am excited to continue my fleetwood mac fantasy when i get home. I love the the little hippie community they have. it is so not new york. and this is good. but its so la, and that i can get a little annoyed with at times. the concept is great. in reality it never really worked out for the mac, stevie was just the prettiest.

Gary Lewis and the Playboys
"mr. blue"
"sha la la"

i have a special connection due to my father to mr. blue, but the original version by the fleetwoods. I will take any version though, and gary lewis and the playboys seem like squares and they totally are not.

Procol Harum
"whiter shade of pale"

these guys were the original hipsters of williamsburg. i mean.... they were so going to that bagel shop before you

Lou Reed
"Pale blue eyes"

i used to say when i was in high school that the velvet underground was nothing without nico. But i was an idiot. I love lou reed. I know it s so typical that i should, but i do. and i actually think nico is to trendy and annoying these days.....

Bruce Springsteen 78'
"darkness on the edge of town"

there is a reason why he's called the boss. he is... and i didn't get that until i saw a pirate tape of his concert in 1984. um, he's sweet ass and everyone loves to hate on him. but these early albums are pure soul candy

Bruce springsteen live 1984
"dancing in the dark"
um this record i got is a live recording from 1984 and it is the japanese distribution soooo take that CW!

Mother earth
"down so low"
"mother earth"

soooo, this is the grand finale...
i actually screamed omg in the record store...
not only because this record is rare as hell, but it was 2 dollars. because people in ohio are stupid.
tracey nelson kills janis joplin. she has more soul in her fingertip than that hot mess would ever had had...had.
serious. when i first heard tracey i assumed she was black and i wished that i could be black to sing like her...
but she aint.
