my first job
when i moved away from home
was at rory's ice cream shop on fillmore in SF
i think i was making like 6.50 an hr (and this was in the 98 dot com boom)
i was super broke, I ate ice cream for breakfast (vanilla w/ granola)
I ate ice cream for lunch (Green tea with a scoop of mango sorbet)
And a hearty ice cream dinner (Cookies & Cream with Almonds in a waffle cone)
I soon got my second job at Peets Coffee up the block
and then added pastrys and caffeine to my ice cream diet
Even though they were pretty lame jobs, I met
