richard brautigan is my favorite author. I was introduced to him by my father when i was in highschool. My dad would read to me poetry from the pill vs the springhill mining disaster....
I have read almost every brautigan book in print.
I always loved the covers..brautigan was such a goofy nerdling old man..(my favorite) and he was tortured by his love of liberated women with long legs and long hair.
he lived in san francisco in the 60's and wrote alot about the bay area...i was romanced at 14 and always wanted my san francisco to have the aftertastes.
